The Texas Policy Lab is seeking a data analyst who will work on pressing early childhood policy issues in Texas in collaboration with Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The successful candidate will work with other members of TPL and faculty at Rice University to contribute to analytical projects involving large administrative and survey-generated datasets in early childhood. This position is for a one-year term, with the possibility of extension based upon need and available funding.
If you have relevant experience with data analysis, we would like to hear from you. The successful candidate will, at a minimum have an Associate degree, preferably a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or other quantitative fields. The ideal candidate would be a new graduate aiming to position themselves for a good graduate school application in a quantitative field.
