Brielle Bryan

Brielle Bryan is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Rice University. Her research focuses on the intra- and intergenerational consequences of criminal justice system contact for socioeconomic stability and wellbeing. Her work, which has been honored by the American Sociological Association and the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), has been published in Social Forces, Demography, RSF: The Russell Sage Foundation Journal of the Social Sciences, and The ANNALS of the American Academy of Political and Social Science.

Dr. Bryan earned her PhD in Sociology and Social Policy from Harvard University and her MPP from Georgetown University.
