Prayag Gordy is an intern with the Texas Policy Lab. He is a freshman at Rice University studying Statistics and Social Policy Analysis with a minor in Data Science. His research interests include big data in public health and politics. Prayag has previously worked on or led data teams for multiple political campaigns.
As an intern, Prayag’s duties include compiling literature reviews and designing data visualizations. He aims to grasp a better understanding of the role of quantitative analysis in government decisions. Outside of TPL, Prayag writes for the Rice Thresher and is constantly involved in political campaigns.
