Rachel Moore is a junior at Rice University studying Economics and Social Policy Analysis with a minor in Math. She intends to go on to graduate school for economics. Her research interests include human capital development, labor economics, and the economic impacts of social policies. Rachel has worked at the Department of Education studying teacher shortages and the Houston Fire Department studying community education. As an intern with the Texas Policy Lab, Rachel compiles census data, contributes to reports, and creates data visualizations. Outside of the Lab, she is involved in McMurtry College government, a social policy project in child language development, and intramural sports.
